However, many people do not see sexual temptation through this lens. I have found that when you can identify the "want" behind the sexual temptation (i.e., "What am I looking for here?"), then you can eclipse the lie that you are believing. Sexual temptation offers a shallow fulfillment; other temptations certainly do that as well. But people who are trapped in a cycle of temptation do not normally stop to think about their thinking. What sin isn't deeply rooted in want?
